Since 1985, Shawn Waldrop has been involved with making people happy through musical entertainment. After hundreds of weddings, private parties, birthdays and corporate events, he seems to actually know what he’s doing now!

Making your event a memorable one - in a GOOD way - is Shawn’s goal every time. Walking away feeling entertained and hoping you’ll have him back.

Shawn has had fortune to warm up the crowd for Pat Green in Fort Worth, keep a crowd of 6,000 FFA members hopping in Houston and delight the masses at state fundraisers in Austin. All the while entertaining school dances and backyard pool parties in the same energetic fashion. Clearly, his humility knows know bounds.

His musical knowledge stems from years as a club DJ for mega honky-tonks around the state such as: Rockin’ Rodeo, Denim and Diamonds and Cowboys. Cutting his teeth in the clubs, as well as local radio in the promotions department gave Shawn a real sense of how to “work” a crowd. Most people are truly dazzled this seemingly mild-mannered young man with his ability and vast knowledge of music covering several decades and genres. Then he starts to talk.

His “on-mic” personality could be described as high-energy, without being over the top or obnoxious. Upbeat with a positive attitude, keeping the flow going starts with being able to understand what he is saying. Keeping the crowd informed and involved is key to a fun, engaging event.
