A - Me, Shawn Waldrop. We are a multi-person operation, but I'm the only DJ. You will get my personal attention before and during your event. Keeping a consistent product is important to me, which is why I DJ every event.
Q - Do you have a playlist?
A - We are asked this constantly. The truth is, with the advent of the internet, the entire playlist of every song is available to our databases. We bring a playlist of approximately 14,000 songs to each event, but can always make arrangements for requests. As long as you, your cousin or your grandma didn't record it, we can usually get it.
Q - How much experience do you have?
A - I have been DJing professionally (getting paid) since 1985. Even when my parents had to drive me to my events, my father instilled a great work ethic and sense of humor in me at an early age. So, no, I'm not really THAT old.
Q - How far will you travel?
A - We have been as far as Houston, Austin, Corpus Christi, Abilene and Lubbock. We mainly focus on the DFW Metroplex, but will try our best to assist you if you really want us!
Q - Do you have a flat rate or are there any extra fees?
A - Our rates are flat, not inflated like some other companies out there. Our goal is to be set up 30 minutes prior to your event, but we do not charge any set up fee, or any extra fees of any kind. Please call or email us to get a rate that I'm sure will be most competitive, especially considering the experience you are getting.
Q - What if we hire you for 4 hours, but want you to stay longer?
A - Our contract spells out guidelines for overtime hours. If you feel the night is still rocking along and don't want to stop, let us know. We'll be happy to stay as long as you like per the overtime rate.
Q - What are the steps involved in booking a party?
A - First, contact us with your details (date, time, etc.) and we'll schedule a time to discuss (mostly in person) at a time of your choosing. Securing a date is easy! All that is usually required is a signed contract and small deposit. Contact us for more info
Q - Do you take requests?
A - We LOVE requests. We especially like it when you sing them to us. We also expect you to dance to the song you requested.
Q - Can I provide my own music?
